NVQ Level 1 Nail Services / NVQ Level 2 Nail Services Salon Services 1, Beauty Therapy Level 1 & 2

NVQs are work based qualifications. Most of the evidence you will need to gather will come from performance work. NVQs are currently available at three different levels of beauty therapy. This means that you have the opportunity to work towards an NVQ to suit your current level of skill and knowledge. It also means that you may be able to increase your skills and knowledge by working towards the next level.

The standards setting body, in this case HABIA, has the content of the units and the number and combination of units required to gain the above NVQs. Qualification structure for level 2 Nail Services candidates will need to achieve 7 mandatory units and 1 optional unit.

Qualification structure for level 3 Nail Services candidates will need to achieve 6 mandatory units and 2 optional units.
