The TAQA award is an award in training, assessment and quality assurance. This replaces the old A1 / A2 assessor awards.
These qualifications are designed for anyone who wants to use their industry knowledge and skills to assess NVQ students. They are intended for people who want to change their career or become assessors in a training environment.
Candidates work at their own pace and can complete the qualification between 8 weeks and 8 months, with the average being 3 months. The qualification consists of 4 workshop taught sessions on a Monday evening. After the workshop sessions you will be assigned a tutor to work alongside and build a portfolio of evidence to submit to complete your qualification.
