Aromatherapy

Using essential oils to help improve physical and emotional well being, Aromatherapy is truly a holistic therapy in that essential oils are selected and blended to suit individual needs, taking account of their physical and emotional state.

Entry Requirements:

Students must hold a recognised anatomy physiology & massage qualification.

Course Conntents:

• History and development of aromatherapy
• Safety precautions
• Study of essential oils
• Basic chemistry of essential oils
• Aromatherapy massage techniques
• Other methods of application of essential oils
• Client consultation and assessment
• Indications, contra-indications and contra-actions
• Record keeping, aftercare

The Requirements:

Students must be dresses in salon wear, with long hair tied back. Students may have to work on each other to gain maximum practical benefits.

Cost: £150.00 + vat

Duration: 2 days, 6 hours a day

A model is required from 1pm on the 2nd day for your assessment.

Price includes:

Certificate on completion. All products and equipment for the duration of the course. Light refreshments will be served.
